Rafael is a composer, improviser, singer, and teacher born in the city of Bogotá, Colombia. He pursued his master's studies at the "Conservatorio di Milano Giuseppe Verdi," Italy, where he received a distinguished thesis. Rafael has composed and premiered instrumental works in various formats, including orchestral, chamber, electronic, and solo instruments. He has created music for numerous dance and theater productions. He has worked as a teacher in different educational institutions. Since 2010, he has been a member of CCMC, the Colombian Circle of Contemporary Music. Currently, he is the singer, composer, and producer for the Bogota rock band "BraiNoise." Since 2015 he has been involved with Peace Revolution assisting to the second artistic retreat, and meditation had a huge impact in his life and music, creating works that involve deep listening and deep focus on sound. He is currently a Peace Architect and is also studying to become a Yoga teacher.
