I have a concern. I just checked my PM and I found a message from a woman called Maria Lea Salonga (she appears to have a profile in our community) and I was wandering if any of you guys have received it as well. I was looking online trying to find the source of this information and verify if it's true or not as there are may hoaxes and false information that we get as spam everyday.

I'm actually a little annoyed that I'm getting this kind of message and a platform as private as the Peace Revolution site, so I would like to know what is happening. I hope no one is taking Mrs. Maria's name for personal benefit and I would really like to help solve the situation. Does anyone know her?

This is the message I got:

Dear friend, 

Greetings and how are you today and hope always be health and fresh,I am Maria Lea Salonga, actress singer from Philippines.I am a widow being that I lost my husband a couple of months ago. My husband was a Chinese-Japanese managing director of an entertainment software company, unfortunately he died in a fatal motor accident with my only daughter Nicole Beverly.

I inherited a total sum of ($7.5 million united state dollars) from my late husband; this money was concealed in a metallic trunk box and deposited with a security and finance company under arrangement as a family available artwork. 

This means that the security company does not know the content of this box that was shipped from united state to Cote d'Ivoire under a diplomatic coverage. Presently, I am suffering from cancer of the throat, which also affected my brain, so I’m with laptop here in the hospital where I have been under going treatment.

I have since lost my ability to talk and my doctors have told me that I have only some few months to live. I want God to be merciful to me and accept my soul, so I have decided to give alms to charity organizations, as I want this to be one of the last goods deeds I do on earth. I am looking for somebody that is capable and willing to assist me to secure the release of this fund from were I deposited it and use the money to build an orphanage home for the less privileged children and widows.
