Mindfulness and Meditation Trainer at World Peace Initiative
Somsak Samsara (Sam) is an MBA graduate from Assumption University. During the 80's he was a full-time teacher at Assumption Commercial College, and later worked at a trading company where he gained business experience in international trades for 9 years.
He was Buddhist monk from 1995 to 2013. During these 18 years, he was trained intensively to do meditation and then trained to be a meditation teacher. His teaching experiences are in local Asian countries, Europe, USA, the Middle East and even in south and central Africa.
His teaching skills do not stop here. He later designed a training course to train the trainers of meditation. That means he trains the monks how to teach meditation. He also teaches basic yoga to the trainees since yoga enhances the quality of mindfulness.
Peace is his passion and meditation is a simple tool to get there. Since he was travelling places where meditation is new to local people, he knows very well what a beginner needs to know to take the first step. Further, if you would like to integrate meditation into your daily routine, Sam also has some simple tips for you.
WPI envisions sustainable change happening when each and every one of us works towards their own self-development. Thus, we have created free and accessible tools for the empowerment and wellbeing of individuals worldwide, regardless of age, race, religion, cultural background.
