Adriana was born in Bogotá, Colombia. After practicing theatre through all her early years she decided to undertake a BA in Literature studies. She worked as a journalist for a couple of years before traveling to London, where she studied her Masters in Advanced Theatre Practice. Since then, she has been a teacher and a researcher in Dramatic Arts at a University in Bogotá and is part of a theatre group where she has performed as an actress and a dramaturg. She started to practice meditation constantly after doing the 42 days Self-Development Program and having the opportunity to attend an International Peace Training in Thailand hosted by the World Peace Initiative Foundation. She has found that meditation and arts weave perfectly as a way to find knowledge about the inner self and discover the kindness that lies within every one of us. This has led her to explore and research new teaching practices that embrace vulnerability, empathy, and kindness.
