Africa is rich in culture, innovation and resilience, yet many communities continue to face challenges including recurring conflict, violent extremism, forced migration, xenophobia and leadership gaps. Building sustainable peace requires more than concern—it requires collective action.

Every lasting transformation begins with individuals who choose to take action. Join a growing network of peacebuilders committed to creating positive change across Africa. Wishful thinking never solved any problem. Action does.

This is why the World Peace Initiative (WPI) invites you to the Africa Peace Summit scheduled to take place on 21st September, 2026.

The inaugural Africa Peace Summit was held in 2016 at Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya. Since then, WPI has empowered thousands of young leaders across Africa through leadership training, meditation programs, conferences and community initiatives. More than 50,000 Africans have participated in our in-person activities, with many more reached through online programs.

This time, we want this summit to not be bound by geographic location so African anywhere can feel included right from their phones. Beginning in 2026, the Africa Peace Summit will be held quarterly to foster continuous dialogue, collaboration and collective action for peace across the continent.
