Anila Kiran

Peace Coach

Hi,

Could someone please guide me how to get a peach coach? I had been practicing mediation but I still don't have a coach.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Hi Anila! Welcome to Peace Revolution! A Peace Coach will 'come to you' in a matter of speaking. You just keep on logging your progress and eventually someone will pm you and guide you if you are having any issues. In the mean time here are a few tips: don't focus too much on the goal, the journey is also very important (meaning: don't worry if you haven't reached your center, you will eventually get there... So just enjoy the ride while you do). If you have distracting thoughts, don't pay attention to them, I know at first it may seem hard... But the best thing you can do is act as a spectator in a movie... Don't try and control the movie... Just watch it and don't pay any importance to the events on it. Follow the mp3 guides... Focus on the words and repeat them in your mind... Make the guide your own by doing this. And the most important one: don't have any expectations... Sometimes we have good or bad sessions... Just know that we learn from every experience, as well as in life itself. I hope this helps for the time being... I am not a coach or anything yet, and just write out of my own experience.

Anila, if you'd like to work together as someone also on the journey, I'm open to that. Just let me know. If you're interested, we could see who else wanted to join together and we could make a closed group on Facebook in order to reflect and move forward together in our practice.
